How to get into Grasshopper. 1⃣ standing figure 4. 2⃣begin to twist so the opposite tricep toward the arch of the foot that is in figure 4. 3⃣crouch down in your twist, wiggle that arch of the foot as high up the tricep as poss. 4⃣chaturanga arms–>use them as a shelf for the outside of the standing leg thigh. 5⃣engage uddiyana bandha and push the arch of the foot to tricep. 6⃣shift slightly forward and extend “shelf” leg out. 7⃣drishti towards extended leg. BAM! Grasshopper.
